Children Escape Injury In North Dakota Plane Crash
Authorities say a pilot was injured during a plane crash Monday.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Jessica Herman, (33) of Kulm, North Dakota, was injured when the 1951 Piper Cub she was piloting crashed in a field just under a mile away from the Enderlin Airport.
According to the report, the plane had taken off for an exhibition flight just after 10am when the engine experienced a malfunction. The plane came to final rest on its roof. Herman sustained minor injuries. Two passengers, a 12 year old boy and a 13 year old boy suffered no apparent injury.
The crash remains under investigation by the FAA.
