Cleveland 5-2 over Twins on Thursday Afternoon

Minnesota Twins were looking for a fifth consecutive victory but good pitching from the Cleveland Guardians ended with a 5-2 loss.

The Twins fall to 46-48 to 3rd place two games behind the Guardians 48-46 and Chicago White Sox 47-45. Twins host the Angles 37-57 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before they break for the 96th All Star Game in Philadelphia on Tuesday.
