Conley headed to Boston

A familiar veteran voice is leaving the Timberwolves. KSTP Sports reports Mike Conley has agreed to sign with the Boston Celtics on a one-year veteran minimum deal. Conley spent parts of four seasons in Minnesota and became one of the team’s most respected locker-room leaders. His departure leaves the Wolves with Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball, Bones Hyland and possibly Ayo Dosunmu handling more backcourt responsibility. Conley appeared in 225 games with Minnesota, averaging nine points and 4-point-6 assists.
