Connie Mary Weber

Connie Mary Weber, age 81, of Kilkenny, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at
Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague.
Born on May 3, 1945, in New Prague, Connie was the daughter of Thomas and Anastasia
(Smith) Michaels. She attended Montgomery High School. On December 26, 1964,
Connie was united in marriage to Kenneth Weber in Northwood, Iowa.
Connie worked for ten years in Montgomery at Munsingware. After starting her family,
she chose to remain at home to raise her children, a role she deeply cherished. She found
great joy in being a homemaker and took immense pride in caring for her family. Connie
was a devoted nurturer who loved gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and
creating a warm and loving home. Her caring nature and unwavering support for her
family will be fondly remembered.
Connie is survived by her children, Kim Stangler of St. Francis, Rhonda Weber of
Kilkenny, and Randy (Bobbie) Sladek of Dundas; grandchildren, Bryce Schuenke,
Ashley (Derek) Doyle, Amanda Stangler, Judd Anderson, and Dakota Anderson; great-
grandchildren, Praydin Stangler and Graysen Schuenke; brother-in-law, Joe Sladek;
sisters-in-law, Janice Michaels, Pat Stahl; best friend, Judy Claffey; along with many
other extended family members and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Weber; her parents, Thomas and
Anastasia Michaels; and her siblings, Keith Michaels, Thomas Michaels, Shirley
Wieland, and Delyla Sladek.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at St.
Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service
at the church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Kilkenny.
