The Minnesota Timberwolves now trail the Dallas Mavericks 2 games to none in the Western Conference Finals after a 109-108 loss Friday night at Target Center. Luka Doncic (DON’-chitch) hit the go-ahead three-pointer for Dallas with three seconds left in the game. Naz Reid led the Wolves with 23 points off the bench, but missed the potential game-winning shot at the buzzer. Anthony Edwards scored 21 points, Mike Conley scored 18, Rudy Gobert scored 16 points and grabbed ten rebounds, and Karl-Anthony Towns scored 15 points. The Wolves led by 18 points in the second quarter, and led by five points with 1:29 to play in the game, but couldn’t hold on. Game 3 is Sunday night in Dallas.
