Dean Thomas Schlumpberger
Dean Thomas Schlumpberger, age 64 of New Ulm died peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Thursday, April 2, 2026, after a 13-year heroic battle with prostate cancer. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 am on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Father Tony Hesse will celebrate the Mass, and burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Thursday, April 9th and continue from 8:30-9:30 am on Friday, April 10th all at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-North Chapel in New Ulm.
