DETOUR ON HIGHWAY 19 WINTHROP BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT DELAYED

The detour for the Highway 19 box culvert replacement project near Winthrop has been delayed a week.  MnDOT says due to recent heavy rainfall in the area, the project is now scheduled to start Monday, August 12.  Motorists will be detoured until the completion of the project in mid-October.  The project includes replacing the box culvert under Highway 19 to improve drainage and enhance safety.  Of course, construction activities are all weather dependent.
