Donnelly Threshing Bee Returns August 29–30!
The Donnelly Threshing Bee returns to Donnelly, Minnesota, Saturday and Sunday, August 29–30, 2026, with two full days of family fun, demonstrations, contests, food, and plenty of old-time machinery.
Admission is FREE!
The weekend actually gets started early with a 7:30 PM Friday night movie on the grounds, followed by a packed Saturday featuring the Donnelly Fire Department Pancake Feed, Donnelly Dash, horseshoe tournament, Tractorcade, antique tractor pull, kiddie parade, petting zoo and pony rides, bean bag tournament, kiddie tractor pull, the Big Parade/Machinery Parade, Royalty Reflection, and more.
Sunday begins with an Open Air Church Service under the big tent, followed by the continuation of the horseshoe tournament, a Classic Car Show, lunch served by Kongsvinger, petting zoo and pony rides, Peddle Car Drag Race, Donkey Racing, and the Horse Pull Contest.
There will also be plenty happening throughout the weekend, including:
- Gas engines, threshing, shingle mill, saw mill, and baling demonstrations
- Old Time Schoolhouse activities
- Bounce house, games, bingo, and food stands
- Fire truck rides before the parade
- Softball Tournament on Saturday
- Craft and Vendor Show both days, Saturday from 10 AM–6 PM and Sunday from 10 AM–4 PM
