DOUBLE FATALITY NEAR HANSKA

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash near Hanska that killed two people early this (Saturday) morning.  Deputies were called at 12:14 am to the collision between a Chevy Silverado and a Oldsmobile 88 on Brown County Road 13 just north of County Road 22.  Both occupants of the Oldsmobile, a 73-year-old male and 74-year-old female were both killed.  The driver of the Silverado 28-year-old Shianne Lee Escobar of Hanska  was taken to the New Ulm Medical Center with unknown injuries.  The state patrol is assisting in the investigation.  Hanska Fire department and first responders, New Ulm Police, and Allina ambulance all assisted at the scene.  The other names are being withheld pending family notification.
