Driver Flees Rural Crash

One person was injured, the other party fled the scene following a two vehicle accident Friday southwest of Saint Hilaire. 

Sheriff’s Officials responded just after 2pm when a Ford truck that was westbound on Center Street was struck by a vehicle attempting to pass it near 140th Avenue Southwest. 

Authorities say the unknown vehicle “failed to stop at the scene”.
