Driver Injured After Hitting Turkey in Wright County

A driver was injured after hitting a turkey in Wright County Sunday morning on I-94.

The State Patrol says 37-year-old Jennifer Kounsa of Waite Park was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says she was traveling eastbound on I-94 in Albertville when a turkey flew into the windshield shortly after 8:30am.
