Driver Injured in Wright Co Crash

A driver was injured in a one-vehicle crash in Wright County early Sunday morning in Monticello.

The State Patrol says 24-year-old Nelson Rodriguez of Big Lake was taken to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says Rodriguez was traveling westbound on Interstate 94 at Fenning Avenue when the vehicle went off the roadway, struck a light pole, went through a fence, rolled, and came to rest against a tree.

The crash happened just before 1am.
