DRIVER INVOLVED IN FATAL COTTONWOOD COUNTY CRASH HAD NO LICENSE

The SUV driver in Friday’s fatal Cottonwood County crash had no driver’s license.  The state patrol says 67-year-old Martin Hanson of Springfield had no license from any state.  He and four members of a Minnesota family riding in a transit van were killed .  The state patrol said that although the 2019 Ford Transit was built with seat belts, none were installed at the time of the crash.  The van held a driver and twelve relatives gathered for a birthday celebration.
