Eagle Baseball Grounded In Marshall

New Ulm Eagle baseball team dropped the first game of the Section 2AAA tournament, losing to Marshall 5 to 1. Winning pitcher, Liam Kruse scattered five hits, giving up one run and striking out 11 batters. Losing pitcher was Tanner Backer, Zach Hubbard had a triple and scored the only run for New Ulm.  New Ulm will face Jordan, Saturday afternoon at 2pm, Marshall will play Mankato East at 11am, both games in New Ulm.

Mankato East 4 to 0 over Jordan, Mankato West 15 to 0 over Worthington and Albert Lea edges St Peter, 2 to 1.

Hanska was a 13 to 2, 7 Inning win over St James.

Springfield defeats Lamberton 8 to 3

Stark hammers Sleepy Eye, 22 to 0 in 7 innings.
