Earth Day Park Clean Up This Sunday

The University of Minnesota Morris Office of Community Engagement will have an Earth Day Park Clean Up from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, meeting at the Welcome Center on the Morris campus. The group will visit five Morris City Parks to pick up trash and wipe down picnic tables where needed. Transportation to the parks will be provided. About 20 to 30 minutes will be spent at each park, starting with Kjenstad on West 4th Street, then Thedin off the Lyndale Avenue Alley, third stop is Wells located between Nevada and Pacific Avenues, then Green River at Elm Street and Green River Road, and wrapping up at East Side on East 7th Street.

This project is outdoors, so dress for the weather. The event will be pushed back to the first weekend in May if inclement weather occurs.
