East Side Park Hearing May 13th

A public hearing for an ordinance to preserve East Side Park has been set for May 13 during the regular Morris City Council meeting in the Council Chambers. A first reading of the ordinance was presented at the most recent City Council meeting, after a petition to preserve East Side Park was certified by the Deputy Clerk. The petition had 534 verified signatures, which amounted to over 20 percent of the total number of votes cast in the last municipal election and enough to move the process forward for the ordinance.
