Eden Valley Man Found Guilty of 1st Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct

(Learfield News/St. Cloud, MN) — An Eden Valley man is going to prison for sexually abusing a preschool-age girl more than 20 years ago.

A Stearns County jury found 36-year-old Aaron Michael Edberg guilty of one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Edberg was living with the victim and her mother in Eden Valley when the alleged abuse occurred between 2000 and 2001.

The girl reported the abuse to a teacher in December 2023 after they had moved from Minnesota to California.

She told authorities Edberg made her perform sex acts when she was age four or five. Edberg’s sentencing hearing hasn’t been scheduled.
