Edie Lou (Cottle) Piper

Edie Lou (Cottle) Piper, age 89, of Northfield, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026.

Edie is survived by her daughter, Rebekah (Tim Fonder); her son, John (Annie); and her grandchildren, John-Paul (Jessica), William (Marie), and Jamie. She was a proud great-grandmother to Hayes, Miles, Hudson, Sloane, Eva, and Emmett.

She is also survived by her brother, Jim (Edletraud) Cottle; brother-in-law DuWayne Lee; and sister-in-law Nancy Whitcomb, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Edie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Michael “Mike” Piper; her brother, Clarence Cottle; her sister, Jean Lee; her niece, Sandi Lee; her parents; and many dear friends and relatives.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
