Eight Individuals Charged in Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Trafficking Conspiracy
Eight members of a Chicago-based drug trafficking conspiracy have been indicted for fentanyl and methamphetamine distribution in Duluth and surrounding areas.
According to U.S. Attorney Andrew M. Luger, the group conspired to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine throughout Duluth and the Twin Ports region between December 2021 and February 2024.
Ezell Cordero Lucas, aka “Cash,” 32, of Chicago who was identified by law enforcement as the leader of the conspiracy, arranged the fentanyl sales in Duluth and directed other members of the conspiracy to conduct the transactions.
In all, eight defendants are charged with conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine.
