Elizabeth Louise Majusiak

Elizabeth Louise Majusiak, age 107 of Le Center passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Cura of Le Sueur.  Funeral service will be on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of German Lake in rural Waterville with Pastor Karl Rydholm officiating with visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Le Center.

Betty was born on November 24, 1916 in Rice County to Arthur W. and Minnie (Chapman) Zimmerman.  She attended country school by German Lake. In July of 1933 she was united in marriage to John Joseph Majusiak.  Over the years she worked at Hi-way Ag, The Little Dandy and at St. Paul Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, traveling, card playing spending time with friends and family.

Betty is survived by her children, Don Majusiak of Le Center Betty Trzecinski of Le Center and Kenneth (Barb) Majusiak of Le Sueur and Carole (Douglas) Thorson of Buhl, Idaho; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three sons, Joe, John and David; brother and sister-in-law, William and Susan Zimmerman.
