Eugene Laechelt

The Zahrbock Funeral Home announces the death of 94-year-old Eugene (Gene) Laechelt of Madison who passed away on Sunday, March 15 at the Madison Hospital.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Madison, MN.  Rev. Thomas Puffe will officiate at the service.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Gene is survived by his wife Norma of Madison, children Tamara and special friend Kensley Graff, David & Aimee, daughter-in-law Sheri Laechelt, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
