Extreme Heat Warning for MN
(Learfield News/Chanhassen, MN) — Much of Minnesota will be under an Extreme Heat Warning beginning at 9 a.m. today as dangerous heat and humidity settle into the state.
The warning remains in effect through midnight Tuesday.
High temperatures are expected to climb into the 90s, with heat index values reaching 105 to 110 degrees in some areas.
Officials urge Minnesotans to stay hydrated, limit time outdoors during the hottest part of the day, and check on vulnerable family members and neighbors.
