Fargo Man Found Dead in Vehicle in Buffalo River

A 24-year-old Fargo man was found dead inside a vehicle in the Buffalo River Thursday afternoon.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office received a report shortly before 5 P-M of a vehicle in the river near 90th Avenue North and 50th Street, north of Dilworth.

The caller did not witness the incident but saw the vehicle and tire marks leading from the road.

A deputy found the man alone inside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His identity is being withheld until his family is notified. The incident remains under investigation.
