Farmfest Opens with Candidate Forums

Farmfest gets underway this morning in Redwood County, with agricultural exhibits and Minnesota politics sharing the spotlight.

Candidates from Minnesota’s First and Second Congressional Districts are scheduled to take part in a forum at 10:30 A-M. Candidates from the Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Districts are scheduled to appear at 1:15 this afternoon.

Wednesday’s schedule includes a Minnesota governor candidate forum at 10:30 A-M, followed by a U-S Senate candidate forum at 1:15 P-M. The discussions are expected to focus on agriculture and rural issues.
