Farole Named State Homeland Security and Emergency Management director
The state Department of Public Safety has a new Homeland Security and Emergency Management director.
Allison Farole previously served as emergency management administrator for the city of Grand Rapids, in Michigan. She previously worked in emergency management leadership roles in Virginia as well as in Michigan.
The DPS says the division’s primary purpose is to build communities that are prepared to mitigate, prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters.
Farole is scheduled to take her new post in Saint Paul on May 7th, 2025.
