Fatal Brown County Crash

A New Ulm woman died in a head-on crash in Brown County Wednesday morning near Searles.

The State Patrol says 29-year-old Guadalupe Miramontes died at the scene. She was driving southbound on Highway 15.

The driver of the northbound vehicle, 21-year-old Hunter Grathwohl of Fairmont, was taken to HCMC in Minneapolis for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened at about 5:30am.
