Fatal Crash In Albert Lea

The Minnesota State patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Albert Lea. Monday afternoon, at approximately 2pm, a 1997 Peterbilt Semi-truck, driven by 21 year old Gabriel Troy Schumacher from Lamberton, was traveling south on Highway 13 and a 2016 Honda Pilot, driven by 84 year old Roger Allen Jensen of Albert Lea,  was traveling east on County road 46 when the two collided in the intersection. Jensen was killed, the passenger, 81 year old Marva Ann Gullord of Albert Lea suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to St Mary’s in Rochestor. Schumacher was not injured.  Albert Lea Police and Fire Departments, Freeborn County Sheriff’s office and Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
