Fatal Crash in Hutchinson

The State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Hutchinson early this morning (Tuesday) involving a semi tractor-trailer.

The crash happened just before 1am on Highway 15 (Main Street) and Echo Drive SE.

The Patrol says the semi, driven by a 67-year-old man from Lincoln, Nebraska, was traveling northbound on Highway 15 negotiating a curve when the semi left the roadway, rolled, and struck a tree.

The driver’s name has not been released.

The investigation continues.
