FATAL CRASH IN ST. PETER

The state patrol is investigating a crash in St. Peter Thursday morning that claimed the life of a Le Sueur woman.  Authorities were called at 11:33 to U.S Highway 169 in Lake Prairie Township.  A Nissan Versa driven by the Le Sueur woman was traveling southbound when it went off the roadway into the ditch and hit some trees.  The woman was killed.  Her name has not been released yet.  Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office, St. Peter Police, Allina ambulance and North Air Care all assisted at the scene.
