Update; Names Released in Fatal Kandiyohi County Crash

Authorities have released the names of the man in an SUV that died and the driver of the semi that was injured in a crash in Kandiyohi County Saturday afternoon in Roseville Township.

The Sheriff’s office says 44-year-old Guillermo Blandon of Willmar died at the scene.

The driver of the semi, 67-year-old David Sandin of Franklin, was treated at the scene and released.

The crash happened at the intersection of County Roads 2 and 33 just before 2pm.
