Fatal Stearns Co Crash

One person died and another was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in Stearns County Monday afternoon, just north of St. Anna.

The Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Ellie Wittstruck of Sartell died at the scene. A passenger in her car, 18-year-old Gracie Grams of St. Cloud, was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, 62-year-old Douglas Blonigen of Avon, had minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.

The crash happened at the intersection of County Roads 9 and 52 just before 2:30pm.
