Fatal Wright County Crash

The driver of a pickup died in a three-vehicle crash in Wright County Thursday night in Clearwater Township.

The State Patrol says 61-year-old Thomas Pearson of Monticello died at the scene.

The Patrol says a semi was eastbound on I-94 when it jackknifed into the center median cables. Shortly after that, the Pearson pickup was eastbound on I-94 when it collided with the trailer of the semi. A second semi then collided with the first semi and pickup then rolled.

The semi drivers were not injured.

The crash happened just before 11pm.
