Fire at Hutchinson Crow River Winery

(Hutchinson, MN) Fire destroyed a maintenance shed at the Crow River Winery east of Hutchinson early Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported just after 2am and when crews arrived, the shed was fully engulfed.

The building was a total loss but is not part of the main complex, which is a popular spot for weddings and other events.

Hutchinson Fire Chief Mike Schumann says the origin of the fire was identified as the middle portion of the south wall containing two battery powered golf carts but the cause is still under investigation.

Schumann says there were no injuries and daily business operations are not affected.
