FIRE DEPARTMENT CALLED TO REPORTED APARTMENT SMOKE
The New Ulm Fire Department was called to a report of smoke from a third-floor apartment on the corner of 3rd North and Minnesota. Crews say radiator steam froze up in an apartment creating smoke. Firefighters shut off a steam valve and stopped the smoke. There wasn’t any reports of injuries or damage and firefighters spent about 20 minutes at the scene.
