FIRST-HALF PROPERTY TAXES DUE FRIDAY
The Brown County Auditor-Treasurer’s Office would like to remind County property owners that the first half property tax installment for residential, commercial, and agricultural parcels are due Friday, May 15th. Payments must be received or postmarked by the due date to avoid penalty. If mailing near the due date, request a free postmark at the post office counter.
Property tax payments can be made in person at the Auditor-Treasurer’s office in the Brown County Courthouse, or at the Brown County License Bureau. A drop box for payments is located in the Law Enforcement Parking Lot off Center and Washington Streets in New Ulm. To make an online payment, visit Brown County’s website at www.browncountymn.gov.
