FLAGS AT HALF-STAFF FOR PEACE OFFICER MEMORIAL DAY
Flags are flying at half-staff on state buildings in Minnesota today (Wednesday) in honor of peace officers who have been killed or injured in the line of duty. The proclamation from Governor Walz declares May 15th as Peace Officer Memorial Day in Minnesota. Walz says in the proclamation says that it’s a day to honor the officers who gave their lives to protect us. There is a remembrance ceremony tonight (Wednesday) at 7 pm at the Peace Officer Memorial at the State Capitol.
