FLAGS AT HALF-STAFF IN HONOR OF FORMER PRESIDENT CARTER
Governor Walz has ordered all U.S and Minnesota state flags to fly at half-staff at all state buildings to honor former President Jimmy Carter. Carter died Sunday at the age of 100. The Governor said “President Carter defined what it means to be a servant leader. He fought for our democracy, our climate, humanity and civil rights around the world.” Flags will be lowered from sunrise this (Monday) morning until sunset January 29.
