Flood Advisory Set to Expire at 11
A Flood Advisory is in effect until 11am this morning.
According to the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain in Northwest Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota from thunderstorm activity. Minor flooding is ongoing in Polk County, Minnesota and in Grand Forks, Steele and Traill Counties in North Dakota.
Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen and excessive runoff is expected.
Use caution when driving and don’t travel through flooded areas. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Turn around, don’t drown.
