New Ulm score late and defeats TCU 21 to 7, St Peter was a 25 to 14 winner over Jordan, Adrian Area was a 20 to 7 winner over St James, Red Roc Central defeats Cathedral 34 to 18, Nicollet was a 58 to 0 winner over BLHS, Cedar Mountasin picks up a 22 to 19 win over Renville County West, SE united hangs on and defeats Wabasso 24 to 19, Springfield scores two defensive touchdowns during a 32 to 7 win over RTR, GFW defeats Medford 50 to 19, Minneota picks up a 42 to 14 win over BOLD, Lesueur/Henderson deefeats MVL 31 to 20, Luverne shuts out Sibley East 56 to 0, Redwood Valley defeats LCWM 20 to 14 and Cleveland was a 27 to 7 winner over JWP.

The Gustie volleyball team opened the Northwestern Tournament with a 3 to 1 loss to  UW/Stevens Point.
