Former Faribault Deaf-School Teacher Charged

A former teacher and wrestling coach at the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf is facing charges involving the alleged sexual abuse of a student nearly four decades ago.

David Arthur Rohm is charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct.

Prosecutors allege the abuse occurred between 1985 and 1988 while Rohm worked at the Faribault school.
The charges are accusations, and Rohm is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
