FOUR ARRESTED IN FIREARM SEIZURE IN EAGLE LAKE

Four people are in custody after a joint state and federal investigation into illegal firearm components delivered to an Eagle Lake home Wednesday.  The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office says they teamed up with agents from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Minnesota River valley Drug Task Force and Homeland Security Investigations and executed a search warrant in the 100 block of North Agency Street.  Authorities recovered multiple firearms and components used to convert semi-automatic pistols into fully automatic weapons.  18-year-old Daniel Russell Chevre, Jr. was arrested at the scene and he is in in the Blue Earth County Jail pending formal charges.  Three of his family members were also arrested on illicit drug charges during the raid.  The case is under investigation by the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office.
