Four Sent To Hospital Following Two Vehicle Accident

Several people, including two children, were injured in a two vehicle accident over the weekend in Norman County. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Karen Louise Plante, (63) of Mcintosh, was northbound on Highway 32 when the 2014 Ford F150 she was driving collided with an eastbound 2011 Toyota Tundra at 330th Avenue in Sundal Township. 

Plante and two passengers, an 8 year old boy and an 11 year old boy were taken to Fosston Hospital and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening. The driver of the Toyota, Colby James Broome, (20) of Vicksburg, Mississippi and a passenger suffered no apparent injury. One passenger in the Toyota was taken to Ada Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. He has been identified as a 43 year old man from Crestview, Florida. 

Everyone involved in the accident was wearing seat-belts at the time of the crash reported just before 6:30pm. 

Officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
