Free Mental Health Training Offered for Minnesota Farm Communities
Free mental health and suicide-prevention training will be offered in agricultural communities across Minnesota this fall.
The Minnesota Department of Agriculture and its partners say the workshops will teach farmers, family members and others in rural communities how to recognize when someone may be struggling, begin a supportive conversation and connect that person with help.
Anyone experiencing suicidal thoughts—or concerned about someone who may be—can call or text the 988 Lifeline anytime. The free and confidential Minnesota Farm and Rural Helpline is also available at 833-600-2670.
Workshop dates and registration information are available through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture
