Frost lose to first place Boston

(St. Paul, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Frost lost at home to first-place Boston yesterday 4-2 at Grand Casino Arena. Former Frost player and Westtonka native Liz Schepers supplied the go-ahead goal for Boston in the second period. Minnesota captain Kendall Coyne-Schofield returned to the ice from injury and had two assists in the loss. Former Gophers Lee Stecklein of Roseville and Taylor Heise of Lake City scored the Minnesota goals. The win for the visiting Fleet clinched a postseason berth. The two-time defending league champion Frost are in third-place in the standings, trailing Boston and Montreal. Minnesota will visit New York on Wednesday for a 6 P-M contest. Boston visits Vancouver tomorrow night.
