Frost lose to First Place Montreal

(St. Paul, MN) — First-place Montreal beat the fourth-place Minnesota Frost 4-1 last night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Montreal clinched a playoff berth the victory. The Frost remain in the final postseason position in the six-team P-W-H-L. Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey scored twice each to help the Victoire. Poulin leads the league in scoring. Minnesota got a goal from Kelly Pannek of Plymouth. Next up for Minnesota is a Sunday home game against Toronto at noon in St. Paul.
