Gas Prices Dropping

(ABC News) Gas prices are dropping to the point where it’s real savings for Americans because of less demand for oil globally.

Compared to a year ago at this time, Americans are now paying 50 cents a gallon less on average for regular unleaded.

If you have a 16 gallon tank which is normal for cars that’s 8 bucks less per fill up compared to a year ago. And some places like California are now 78 cents a gallon less. The national average is now at $3.31 a gallon according to new data from the Energy Department.

According to GasBuddy, the average price in Minnesota is $3.20 for a gallon of unleaded regular.

Much of it because of lower oil prices down 10% since July and less demand from China amid their weakening economy there.
