Non-Conference Girl’s Basketball results from around the area:

New Ulm traveled to Orono a was defeated 64 to 30, St Peter picks up a 63-46 win over Hutchinson, St James takes it to Madelia 92 to 35, Redwood valley was a 66 to 50 winner over Sleepy Eye, Fairmont holds of NRHEG to pick up a 52 to 44 win, Sibley East defeats Cathedral 52 to 41, Tracy/Milroy/Balaton edges Wabasso 54 to 48, Lester Prairie picks up a 63 to 58 road win over Central Minnesota Christian, Cedar Mountain was a 54 to 32 winner over Renville County West, MVL defeats Waseca 44 to 37 and St Clair defeats  Tri City United 77 to 70. There was a couple of Valley Matchups: Nicollet defeats Alden/Conger/GE 68 to 52 and Martin County West was a 61 to 41 winner over Cleveland. Red Rock Finals: Murray County Central was a 57 to 15 winner over Red Rock Central and RTR defeats Mountain Lake/Comfrey 49 to 31.

Boys Hockey finals:

Minnesota River edges Dodge County 3 to 2, Worthington was a 6 to 2 winner over Redwood Valley, Luverne shuts out Fairmont 13 to 0 and Chisago Lakes was a 7 to 1 winner over Marshall.

Girl’s Hockey Results:

Willmar shuts out New Ulm 4 to 0 and Minnesota River picks up a 2 to 1 road win over Litchfield/Dassel/Cokato.
