Goligoski retires from NHL

(St. Paul, MN) — A Minnesota Wild veteran is hanging up his skates. Blue-liner Alex Goligoski announced yesterday that he is retiring from the N-H-L. The 39-year-old Grand Rapids native and former Golden Gopher star spent the last three seasons with the Wild. He had ten assists in 36 games with the team last season.
