Goodridge Area Man Injured After Crouching Behind Vehicle

A Goodridge area man was injured after being struck by a car Friday in Thief River Falls. 

Police say Doug Krout was knocked over while crouching behind a 2008 Lincoln MKX picking up some change he had dropped. According to the report, the driver of the vehicle, Beth Fuller of Thief River Falls did not see Krout crouched behind the vehicle. 

Krout suffered injuries officers at the scene described as “minor”. The address in the report simply says “Highway 59 South”. 

Officers responded just before noon.
