Gopher Football sets Start Times

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Golden Gopher football team will play a Black Friday game at Wisconsin this year. The Big Ten announced the date change yesterday, putting the long-running rivalry in major college football on national C-B-S Television at 11 A-M on November 29th. The winner of the annual game takes home Paul Bunyan’s Axe, which the Badgers won in Minneapolis a year ago. The start time for the Gopher season opener against North Carolina has been set. The Gophers and Tar Heels will kick off at 7 P-M on Thursday, August 29th at Huntington Bank Stadium. That game will be nationally televised on FOX. Minnesota’s Week Two home game against Rhode Island will begin at 11 A-M on September 7th, while the Week Three home matchup against Nevada will start at 2:30 P-M on September 14th.
